A healthcare professional with expertise in MRI imaging is sought for a contract opportunity in Clementon, NJ. This role involves producing high-quality MRI images of designated anatomical areas as ordered by licensed physicians, with a focus on patient populations including cardiac/cardiovascular, mammary, gastrointestinal, endocrine, renal, and skeletal systems. Conditions commonly encountered include coronary artery disease (CAD), peripheral vascular disease (PVD), cerebrovascular accidents (CVA/TIA), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), congestive heart failure (CHF), and oncology cases.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans following established practices and physician orders
- Ensure accurate exam sequencing and patient preparation tailored to neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Collaborate with medical staff and adhere to departmental protocols
- Participate in a thorough orientation process including virtual and in-person training sessions
- Comply with badge identification and clock-in requirements
Qualifications And Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
- ARRT certification and BLS required
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system preferred
- Ability to work 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., three days a week, including call twice a week and every other weekend coverage
- Professional appearance with black scrubs uniform
